Puppets Dallying
Puppet Slam

Prepare to be enchanted by an evening of theatrical innovation as Steel City Shakespeare Center proudly presents Puppets Dallying, a puppet slam event inspired by the timeless themes of Shakespeare's Hamlet on Friday, November 1, at 7:00 PM at the West View Hub Hubworks.

Led by SCSC veteran director and designer Cat Aceto, Puppets Dallying invites audiences to experience the poignant and humorous intersections of classic literature and contemporary performance art. Each act is a testament to the enduring relevance of Hamlet's themes of existential inquiry, familial conflict, and the quest for identity, reimagined through the imaginative lens of talented puppeteers.

Charles Dickens’

A Christmas Carol

For over 180 years, Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale A Christmas Carol has inspired and delighted audiences young and old from all walks of life. This year, SCSC veteran actor Bob Colbert assumes the role of Charles Dickens as the master storyteller, portraying all of the treasured roles and providing narration in the dramatic Dickensian prose, presented at the West View Hub Hubworks December 6-15. Don't miss out on this exciting tour-de-force that reminds us all that, “Mankind is our business.”
